The Memorial Garden & Ministry of Consolation
Saturday, March 4, 10am - 12 noon
Come explore the spirituality of aging by reflecting on elder-folk tales and stories that are embedded in the Scriptures. In this workshop, we will identify specific challenges that point to the qualities of healthy and soulful aging. We will observe what happens when these tasks are developed or avoided. Finally, we will notice how these efforts apply to our own life stories.
Presenter is Suzanne Young, MA, spiritual director, teacher and guide to the issues around aging well and bereavement. She has a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology and has taught in both Catholic and public schools, directed parish religious education programs and taught courses for St. Mary's College.
