Monday, May 28
Our duty as citizens is to remember. Our response as a parish is to commemorate. Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, is the day we pause to recall the tremendous sacrifices offered by so many that we may be what we are today. We can only express our gratitude for a debt we can never fully repay. Please join us as we celebrate our legacy as a nation at 9:15 am (following the 8:30 am Mass).
This will mark our 18th annual Memorial Day Service. All are welcome, especially the young who deserve to understand. If you are a military veteran, please attend in uniform if you are able. If you are a friend of family member of a veteran, please attend to honor his or her service. Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be available along with the opportunity to share our thoughts with each other.
