JOY

What is JOY?  Jesus, Others, You

JOY is for all of those wishing to experience a closer walk with God in our everyday life.

The Diocese of San Jose and the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops believe that adults and young adults should be at the center of spiritual and educational faith development. In supporting this vision, JOY enables the parish community to gather once a month to learn about their Catholic Faith and to share their faith journey with one another.

This process supports adult Catholics in their faith by, coming to understand scripture and it’s relevance in our life today, connecting to God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit through prayer, to understand the meaning of the sacramental life of the church, how to live a moral life through the teachings of Jesus and the Catechism of our faith.  Each year of JOY the topics will change so that the learners can grow a deepening relationship with Jesus and to be able to evangelize with confidence about their faith.
