The Young Adult Ministry at St. Francis of Assisi Parish aims at proposing activities for young adults in their 20’s and 30’s, college students, single and married young adults. It’s a great opportunity for our young adults to have fellowship activities to get to know each other better, and to make great friends, to be enriched spiritually through learning the Catholic faith, through studying and sharing the scriptures, and through serving the Church with their gifts and talents. Activities can be of the following types: spiritual, community service, social, or sport and leisure. Young Adult ministry may support to other groups in the parish, for example, Outreach, Small Faith Communities, and Bible study.

Our Mission and Vision

We the Young Adults of St. Francis of Assisi believe that we are called by Christ to be living witnesses of His gospel in our world today. As disciples of Jesus, we strive to be faithful in his teachings and responsibly participate in the life, mission, ministry, and work of the Catholic faith community.

We the leaders of North Star Young Adult Ministry, formed this ministry to encourage spiritual growth and participation in our church among our community of young adults. We are called to be the light of the world, and as disciples of Christ, we are meant to spread this light to others by building a community of faith, friendship, and service to one another.

Some of our event include faith sharing meetings, praise and worship nights, and community service.
